  • [ Units and town houses ]  are in abundance, ranging from a block of 4 to a complex of over 100. Two and three bedroom units are popular rentals, with a few townhouses that are ideal for owner occupiers. There are also new unit complex's being built by local builders. These are generally available off the plan or at lock up stage.
     

  • [ Older homes ]   35 Years old approx, fibro / timber or hardi-plank, generally high set. You will find these closer to town and more so on the traditional ¼ acre block
     

  •  [ Brick Veneer homes ]  ranging from 20 years old to brand new; 3 bedrooms with ensuites. Block sizes range from 400 m2 to 1,000 m2 depending on the location.  
     

  • [ Nerang River Drive is the street to be if you want river front, boat access to the broad water (but it takes a while to get there) generally bigger homes and thus priced accordingly. These homes are around 25 Years old. 
     

  • [ New Homes Nerang is mostly a developed community nowadays, however there are still a few pockets where you can purchase a new home or a house-land package.
     

  •  [ Views Views Views ]  Nerang boasts some of the best Surfers skyline views on the Gold Coast. Elevated parts of Highland Park (The Outlook) is highly sought after for its ocean views and breezes. Beautiful family homes, in a well planned estate generally fetch a price tag any where from $400,000 to $800,000 and more .... 
     

  •  [ An acreage lifestyle ] is also possible in Nerang. Garden acreage estates are only minutes from town, with town water and some on sewerage. One acre blocks are quite common, some up to three acres. If you are after a bigger block, 10 acres, only a further 3 to 5 minutes out of town and there they are. Some are suited to horses, many selling for more than  $1,000,000.
     

  • [ Land for sale is generally in newer estates, that have covenants, and the odd block of land that may be available thoughout built-up suburbia. Most of the acreage land for sale is either out of town or in a subdivision, which again have covenants.
     

  • [ The 100 year old Queenslander? ]  that needs renovating and you think you can pick up for $200,000 does not exist in Nerang. Even though Nerang has a long history, there are only a hand full of old homesteads, and of course if it is rare it has a premium price tag. Further in at Southport there are a few more Queenlanders or we suggest the older suburbs of Brisbane where they are in abundance.
