Dr Whitlow has compiled many years of his research on one CD, " Nerang at the Crossroads, Our Gateway to the Hinterland"  being completed in October 2001, this CD provides a vast amount of information on the history, demographics and the growth of the Nerang District.

In Dr Whitlows words ;

" The primary objective of this project was to obtain and present a clear understanding of the origin and growth of the Nerang township, including detailed mapping of current land use and business activities and a description and analysis of the socio-economic characteristics of Nerang."
